Yummy Chicken Drumsticks

I made a nice dinner yesterday using some drumsticks and thighs (wing size not full size & bone in) and unfortunately i didnt get any pics or measure anything but I figured Id list the ingredients here & give my estimates because OMG it was good! I do have some left so i will try and take a pic when i reheat it.

Ingredients:
(remember these are estimates because I didnt measure specifically)
1 1lb packet of drumsticks
1 1lb packet of chicken thighs
1 cup ketchup
1/4 cup dijon mustard
1/4 cup honey mustard
1 small can of tomato sauce
4 tablespoons of honey
2 shallots grated

Add chicken drums & thighs to crockpot
Mix all other ingredients and pour over chicken
Cook on low for 5-6 hours

The flavor of these were so good, I was very surprised! I am one who doesnt like tomatoey(is that a word?) sauces so i was a bit pensive about making this but I really am trying to branch out with my recipes. Im very glad i took a chance because this made me want to try again.

Steam & Sparkle

So I recently had some issues with my floors in my house (we rent and the linoleum is about as old as me or possibly older) because the floors are yellowed and dingy from so many years of use.

I have gone through maybe 3 mops since we moved in 19 months ago. Mainly because i thought if my bleach addiction wasn't whitening them up it had to be that I had an ineffective mop. Yes, I am that stubborn lol.

Anywho, I happened to come across a post on one of my facebook yardsale groups that had a used steam-mop for sale & my inner shopaholic came out & went on a search for steam-mops. I found one! Its Shark Steam-mop and it was only $35.

It works SO WELL!

My floors are so much cleaner looking then they ever have been and not only did i use it on my floors but i used it on the walls and cabinets too & they look phenomenal! I know I sound like an infomercial but, no i am not getting paid for this and I don't even get paid to blog at all. I am just super happy with this thing. Ill try and post some pics in the next week if I can. I have a busy month ahead so not sure when Ill post again but hopefully it wont be too sporadically.

The Gravy!

You can find my awesome crockpot  roast recipe here
Pieces Of Jojo: Crockpot Ball-Tip Roast & A Mishap

This is my go to gravy when i have a small amount of time & boy did it save the roast this night!
Its super simple and easy but tastes great. Especially if youre in a bind.

Ingredients:
2 tbsps Olive Oil
5 tbsps Corn Starch ( i never use flour because i hate the taste)
1/2 a box of beef broth or 2 cans
1 cup milk
1/3 cup cream
1/3 cup white wine (i use chardonnay or any cheap white wine)
1/2 cup sugar
salt & pepper to taste

Directions:
Mix oil and corn starch together until smooth
Heat up in sauce pan just until it starts to bubble
Add all other ingredients and stir with whisk until its the thickness and consistency you like.
I prefer a thicker, creamier, gravy so i cook& whisk for at least 30 minutes.
Voila!

Melodys Lip Smackin Crockpot Meatballs

I love meatballs. Yes I do. They are pretty much the only way ill eat ground beef anymore, aside from the occasional taco or meatloaf. There is so much you can do with these bad boys! Heres the recipe i made tonight for dinner. My kids were pleased! My husband thought they were a bit too spicy so definitely adjust to your (or your S/O's) own spice tolerance.  These were just bursting with flavor & even before I started cooking them they smelled heavenly. Enjoy ya'll!

This recipe makes ALOT .
We have leftovers for the next day so be aware of that so you can adjust your servings.
